On 12 August, I went to the Lady Gaga concert. Though it was not a fantastic one, it was still okay cause I had the VIP ticket and it was less cramp at the VIP area. I got the ticket cause I went with Ernest "Tansimi" Tan and his aunty whose friend owned Hard Rock Cafe. Hard Rock sponsored the VIP area. She used a little bit of vulgarities. She was like, "Dance! Mother Fu*kers!", "Tell them Lady Gaga says Fu*k off!" and "I'm just a blonde bitch in a bubble suit". LOL.

On 16 August, I went to church for service. Then, went to Cathay for lunch. Leftfoot said that I could collect my NB White Pigeon on Tuesday. After that, went to Taka for a while to count AhMa's birthday red packets in Flower Diamond's VIP room. Then, had dinner with Uncle Calvin and Co. Then, we went home for awhile, went to pick up Jie Jie Ivy, Sisi and Lynda from Taka and proceeded to Uncle Douglas's funeral wake. He drowned in Bali on National Day. He was in waist deep water when a freak wave swept him and his two friends 200m away from shore. He could not reach the ground and his face kept going into the water. He probably swallowed a lot of water. Plus, it was just after his lunch. They managed to reach shore with the help of a lifeguard and came across a French doctor and tried to perform resuscitation on him. But, it was probably not enough. So, they rushed him to a clinic and tried to seek the doctor's help. But that doctor refused to help him as he claimed to be attending to another patient. This was freaking ridiculous! He was dying and need medical attention immediately! I would have charge into the doctor's room and tell him that he was dying and needed t be helped no matter what! They then went to another clinic but it was already too late.. When we arrived, I went to see his coffin. Before I looked at him, I took a deep breath. When I saw his face, my heart dropped. His face was purplish and bloated. I felt like crying, but held back my tears. I went back to the table and sat there in anger if the ridiculous doctor and sadness. I went back to the coffin two more times after that. I said my prayers too. In front of the coffin was his pictures. His family must have been in grave sadness and misery. In my memory, he was a cheerful and wonderful guy who gave me ice-cream and called, "Gab! Gab!" Every time I bumped into him. His son is turning 2 this November. But very sadly, his son will not really have a clear memory of his father. After the wake, we dropped Jie Jie Ivy and Co back to Tampines and went back home. His cremation was held on 17 August at 3p.m. Though he have left us physically, he will always be in our hearts helping and watching over us with Him. We will meet him again one day. I'm sure.
